SpellForce 3 Reforced Storyline

SpellForce 3 Reforced takes place before the events of SpellForce: The Order of Dawn. The rebellion of renegade mages, known as the Mage Wars, has been quelled by the Crown. However, this victory came at a great cost: regions have descended into anarchy, refugees walk the lands, and a mysterious plague called the "Bloodburn" spreads rapidly.

Amidst this madness, the Purity of Light, led by Rondar Lacaine, claims that mages are the source of all misfortune and that only the second coming of Aonir, the father of all gods, will restore Eo to its former splendor .
